A list of GPU models does not reveal PCIe limits, host bottlenecks, condition, stability or marketplace readiness. The review turns your specification, photographs and diagnostic outputs into a practical next decision.

Mining-era designs often prioritised card count and steady independent work. AI and marketplace hosting introduce different demands, so the complete rig and the intended workload have to be considered together.

    Rig specification and condition

    Review the GPU models and memory, motherboard, CPU, RAM, storage, power supplies, risers, chassis and network hardware from the information and photographs you provide.

  2. 02

    PCIe topology and host limits

    Check reported link widths, slot layout, risers and the likely effect of CPU, system memory and storage. Identify whether the rig is better treated as independent GPU workers than one tightly coupled system.

  3. 03

    Diagnostics and stability evidence

    Review the diagnostic results you collect for GPU detection, errors, temperatures, memory, storage and sustained operation. Missing or inconclusive evidence is recorded rather than treated as a pass.

  4. 04

    Power, cooling, storage and connectivity

    Assess reported wall-power capacity, connectors, airflow, temperatures, storage and network conditions against the intended AI or marketplace use. This is a remote evidence review, not an electrical or physical inspection.

    AI workload suitability

    Separate workloads that can run independently on each GPU from communication-heavy multi-GPU jobs. Compare likely uses such as inference, rendering, transcription and batch work without promising benchmark performance.

    Vast.ai listing and verification readiness

    Check the supplied evidence against the current Vast.ai host and verification requirements available at the time of review. Identify likely blockers, but do not promise platform approval, demand, rates or income.

What we need from your team

Start with a description of the rig through the contact form. Do not send passwords, wallet keys, API tokens or remote-access credentials.

We confirm a bounded evidence checklist before the review. If essential details cannot be collected safely, the report will state that a remote conclusion is not possible for that part of the rig.

  • Motherboard, CPU, RAM, storage, power-supply, riser and network specifications
  • Clear photographs of the complete rig, GPUs, power connections, risers and cooling layout

What does the GPU-to-AI Readiness Assessment cost?

The assessment costs £495 plus VAT per rig. We confirm what counts as one rig, the supplied evidence and any multi-rig scope in writing before payment.

Is this a physical inspection?

No. It is a remote evidence review based on the specification, photographs and diagnostic results you provide. It is not an electrical safety inspection, warranty inspection, hardware valuation or certification.

Will you run diagnostics on the rig?

We provide the agreed evidence checklist and review the outputs you collect. Remote access, on-site testing, repairs and hands-on benchmarking are not included unless separately scoped in writing.

Does a readiness result guarantee Vast.ai verification?

No. We check the evidence against the current published requirements and identify likely gaps. Vast.ai controls its own verification, listing, demand and marketplace decisions, which can change.

Will you estimate Vast.ai income?

The report can compare operating costs and the implications of a marketplace route, but it does not guarantee approval, utilisation, rental rates or income. A rig should not be upgraded solely on a forecast of marketplace earnings.

What recommendation will the report give?

The costed conclusion will be one of four practical routes: use the rig unchanged, upgrade selected components, rebuild a supportable system around the GPUs or do not proceed. Any missing evidence and conditions are stated.
